Waterleaze Growers
I have been helping bring into being a new community food growing space in Batheaston. On one acre of land our group are managing fruit and nut trees and growing vegetables collectively for our own consumption. The land was purchased by a very supportive person with an intention for sharing it’s use with the community. Through thoughtful discussion about our respective needs in relation to the place, land, and relationships, we have successfully created an agreement that meets the needs and autonomy of all. We are now ready to open up the project to new members. Find us on social media here or contact me directly for further details.

Bath Avon Community Food Forest
This is an exciting new project in its early stages with a vision to re-common land and create a large scale food forest (landscape of perennial edibles) near Bath. The aims of the project are creating an opportunity for practising collaborative community, creating access to land, and developing an ecologically rich, wildlife supporting, productive landscape. By creating a large scale project, we hope this will introduce many more people to the concept of food forests and inspire their emergence elsewhere. I am a founder and core team member.
Woven Earth – Holistic Restoration
This project in Derbyshire, lead by the wonderful Miriam and Rob, is working to restore a 150 acre farm using understandings of human interactions with the ecosystem and landscape over millenia, as a keystone species and ecosystem engineer. I have been contributing to their explorations on the question ‘how do we restore human connection to the land? ‘.
